It's unbelievable that World is the hardest MH game on Steam
Why did Capcom decide to sellout and make the following MH games easier and easier? What in the world is going on here? :ourplanet:

they like money.
MH used to be a smaller franchise so they could cater to a smaller niche fanbase.
Now its not so they have to cater to a bigger fanbase.
Humans as a rule dont like to lose, they like to win.
They enjoy the illusion of challenge, satisfying resistence not an actual wall.

So the new people get their easier game, capcom gets their money and the oldschool fans get to see the franchise get much fancier than it ever would have been.
The cost of this is the games are gonna be easier/faster/more streamlined.
you're claiming it's too easy? when you're the one resorting to cheating for achievements? lol

I feel like we didn't play the same game sometimes, base world and most of iceborne doesn't push you unless it's you're first monster hunter game. It isn't until quite literally, the last three bosses where the game get really balls-to-the-walls difficult. rise is easy, but hadn't figured out how to handle it's new systems yet, but sunbreak starts asking you to interact with it's systems in different ways until the first TU, where it starts getting proper difficulty.

This is just the way the works, and also who cares lol, as long as you're having fun, that's the only thing that matters in a video game!

Sunbreak is the easiest of them all. That expansion gives you two followers, two pets, wirebugs and silkbinds. The only thing monsters get is faster speed. Capcom let us down with that sinker of a game.
I keep seeing people claiming wilds is too easy. Only to compare it to a game that's been out for years and had time to add a ton of high scaled Skill-checks.

I am convinced Monster Hunter Rise is hardest.
This niche game series became popular, ergo they will chase the majority, the casual player.

Removing everything that made the series niche to begin with, especially animation commitment has meant that all skill and difficulty has gone down with each new iteration.

Because, as with every modern Monster Hunter game, they add the hard stuff in title updates and the DLC because people binge the ♥♥♥♥ out of games to completion and then ♥♥♥♥♥ and mald about there being nothing to do after they spent 2 weeks nonstop grinding the game like their lives depended on it.

I'm sorry you feel like the game's early stages being made more accessible makes you feel like you aren't the sole person the franchise is being made to please and that you, in fact, share this franchise with millions of other people, most of us wanting the game to be more accessible to newer players while ramping up harder later on, but you aren't actually the only person monster hunter exists to please lmao

They already announced that they felt they undertuned end game a bit and are going to be giving resilience buffs to 8 stars and make them harder to wound, and they're going to continue to add more difficult content as the game's lifespan goes on. Just like Rise and World.

If you're that mad about it, then go away and come back when MR is added.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pace-breaking animations and tedium was not "skill". No monster hunter game has ever been particularly hard. You are conflating "the game actively resists being played" with "this game is hard and me beating it makes me skilled". The older games have aged like milk in most respects, and yet because the core gameplay loop is so good, they still shine regardless. Wilds' systems are the best moment to moment gameplay the series has ever had, all they have to do is exactly what they already announced they're doing: re-tuning things to make the new systems less omnipresent and give monsters more durability against them.
idk if its just me but frenzied mons in this game feels like paper
Waiting for the day Wilds being review bombed by Alatreon 2

They're supposed to. They're less durable in exchange for way more aggression and faster attack patterns.

I'm glad you apologize. If only Capcom would do the same. I suppose they did since they are fixing the game with the next update. Looks like the players were right!
