What reigion will the expansion take place in?
Base Wilds has lava, snow, forest, desert and dark cave. Think Coal Highlands (2.0) is coming back? :coolthulhu:

Rotten Vale or something similar to it would be cool, but probably unlikely. Hold up... Maybe do a whole thing where it's normally Coral Highlands 2.0, but during inclemency everything rots and basically turning it into Rotten Vale 2.0 as well?
THE GUIDING LANDS
Tropical is my theory.
Something new, hopefully. They've done pretty much everything in past entries, so it's going to be hard to bring something new to the table.

If Shagura is prevalent, then maybe a Frenzied zone. Changing between states to symbolise Shagura's mastery over Frenzy.

We already have that covered with Scarlet Forest, no? Unless you mean something more like a bunch of tropical islands?

Same would go for flooded forest and shrine ruins, still we got citadel and jungle and all of hem were amazing.

So the question is less what region but more how much love they put in details

I hope it's another coral highlands. God, I miss how pretty that place is and I hate how maps in Wilds look so miserable and unfun to navigate for me even with your mount.
God I would looooooooove a Coral Highlands map that let you go all the way down the rotten vale without fast travel, it be so amazing
We have a desert, forest/watery area, fire area, ice area, and weird artificial area. I think for the expansion we get either a more temperate forest or something more outlandish like the Rotten Vale or Coral HIghlands.
