Do small Gold Crowns show via binoculars?
I just spent 20 min resetting a Gore Magala in the arena and I saw like 6 or 7 big SILVER crowns but not a single big GOLD crown or any small crowns.

What exactly shows with the binoculars?

I know your pain, but since there is no silver mini crown, it can be hard to tell if it's close to being a mini gold crown. You'll only ever see the three crowns (2 gold, one silver) but most of the time, you'll likely see no crowns.

Yes they do. They are a stubbier Gold Crown with a green gem in the middle, and the Large crown is taller with a red gem.

I know your pain, but since there is no silver mini crown, it can be hard to tell if it's close to being a mini gold crown. You'll only ever see the three crowns (2 gold, one silver) but most of the time, you'll likely see no crowns.

Sometimes I've spent 1+ hour resetting to get a crown.

Small crowns tend to be harder to find.

What monsters can't show up in the arena? I imagine trying to get crowns for those would be a very long and painful process...

Any of the Guardian monsters can't show up and jin dahad what I can remember. Might be some more.

Any of the Guardian (Doshaguma, Odagaron, Fulgar, Rathalos) types, Uth Dana, Rey Dau, Nu Udra.

(Also Jin Dahaad but no crowns for him anyways)
