Be honest - what does MH:Wilds have over MH:World?
I played World a lot and I loved it, but optimization issues aside from Wilds I haven't really felt the pull to buy Wilds that much. So for those that have played Wilds for a while...

How would you compare the two? Where does Wilds shine in comparison to the latter? Where does World shine over Wilds?

There honestly isn't a damn thing World does better than Wilds besides the current performance of it. World is just a bad game in almost all facets from monster roster, to clutch claw, to the feel of weapons, the insanely bloated skills, bloated monster health due to all the ways to keep a monster stunned indefinitely with the environment, maps are designed much better. I could go on and on tbh, literally the only thing it has over wilds is performance and it's a complete game atm.

Better HR endgame (MH4 Relic weapons my beloved)

Investigation/Survey Field RNG giga loot

Wound system alot better and knowing the timings of when to cash them out to extend tumble phases feels great. Almost all of the time you should leave wounds open though. Way less intrusive and more organic than crutch claw

Which completely removed the satisfaction of landing a TCS
GS focus aim is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ great. Probally the best addition to the GS

At making GS accessible for fetuses. Terrible change, balanced by nerfing its damage too iirc

No, What makes you hit less is your deco and talisman choices.

But I have always said, that I dont care about speedrunning. Fun factor goes before that. My hits with GS feel satisfying AF and I also dont rely on LT+RB for main damage.

:>

That's literally the weapon's identity... now stripped away. There is no satisfaction from not having to learn much about a monster's patterns anymore.

>and I also dont rely on LT+RB for main damage.

Huh?

Every single 3D model now moves organically! Your character can sidestep while attacking or defending. All of the monsters can also sidestep while doing either too. With all the trouble I had with Rathians and Rathalos back in the day when I was wee newb, I thanked my lucky stars that they could not adjust their movements to execute precision moves. Fast forward to present day, and those things are literally DANCING with me. Hunting them now feels beautifully fresh since they are now lore accurate agile.

I like the now expanded moveset and the offset counters which is soo satisfying, just like guardpoints but better.

Yep. Definitely not in it. Its not like the devs are gonna bring that thing back for an encore. Yep. Nope. Definitely not. No, sir.

Just because you're staying huh I assume you dont know how much less damage the wound attack does.

and no, Its character wasnt just pure brute hits. That was hammer's character. The only reason GS was 'good' was because of the ability to guard tbh,

If you're using a wound attack at all your griefing your damage. Even then why do you feel the need to bring up an occasionally available attack for main damage?

No one blocks on Great Sword, ever. Especially since they added the super armor dash in World.

Are you kidding me? Offset and powerclash add to smuch to GS XD

Offset parry is a nice addition but it's not guarding like you previously mentioned.

Focus Strike TCS shortcut is fine but other weapons have better benefits than GS' raw damage one.

What are you even trying to discuss?? I bring up overall damage and you throw in Focus Strike. You bring up guarding and I respond but your response back is to talk about offset attacks now??

Also, apparently I missed this:

"Brute hits"? Whatever that means but GS' identity was needing to have great positioning and timing of your slow hits, nothing like how a hammer plays which just bonks a monster's head. Somehow it went over your head
