Typo in the config.ini
Has anyone else noticed this in the config? I found mine to have "Resolution" spelled wrong on this line: https://imgur.com/a/oVLGRF6

Fixing the misspelling gave me a performance boost from what I can tell.

Edit: Also linking to Sononeo's suggestion. This gave me a very nice boost as well, but make sure to watch your temps. It made my processor temp jump significantly (50C to 70C).

Edit 2: Fixing the typo is breaking the setting, as Sarbian has posted. So if you think this may help you with various issues, you can just delete that whole "MinimumStreamingTextureResolution" line and the game still runs.

ParallelBuildProcessorCount=16
RenderWorkerThreadPriorityAboveNormal=Enable

First was at 8 before and second was false. On Intel so maybe some threading oddities going on, but there is a big jump with a 13900k and RTX 3090 to being nearer to 60 most of the time, with DLSS set to Quality.

I noticed that upon closing the game the value switches itself back to the misspelled version.

I was just coming here to say the same thing. Seems the typo is in the code itself so this won't actually do anything of note.

That being said, it is an amusing find.
when you restart the game the config file is restored as before
It's a placebo
MinimumStreamingTextureResolution=MinimumStreamingTextureResoltuion_256
Look at what this line says Resolution=Resoltuion
i guess it just fix for a typo in the code and it should change nothing or make it worse
Did you tried to put the file in readonly so the game doesn't modify it ?

Correcting the typo didn't change anything for me.

this line is already the fix for the typo in their code, read what that line says

Yes I just put config.ini into read-only, opened and closed the game a couple times, and it does not change it back to the typo. It *does* if read-only is turned off. I'm assuming this may affect other settings changes though, so if you notice it not changing other display options between game boots then you need to make sure the ini is writable.

As others have said, this is probably either fixing something, or breaking something that was making rendering worse. Either way, I'm definitely pushing some graphics settings higher on my 4060ti 16gb without performance drops.

wow, fixing the typo actually improved the performance a fair bit
I cant find config.ini in the folder. is it just in config?
