My honest opinion.

1: Performance/Graphics:
First off, all the performance complaints are crap. It's just not true. The game runs and looks great. I truly believe all those complaining have outdated pc's. My pc isnt even that high end and i run max settings at 100+ fps without frame gen.

Score: 10/10

2: Story:
Kinda meh tbh. It pales in comparison to world's story, but is better than rise. The characters are less interesting and I feel less invested in the world and what happens to it than i did in world. It's still better than rise's story so I cant give it a horrible score in relation to the series, but it's disappointing for sure.

Score: 5/10

3: Gameplay:
It's certainly a monster hunter game. All the weapons we love are there, with mechanics we're familiar with, no complaints there. With that being said, the monsters are just so boring. There's no elder dragons, there's nothing that actually inspires fear. I made it through the entire game without feinting a single time. There's no raids/sieges like kulve turoth or safi jiva/fatalis/alatreon etc, which were arguably the best part about MHW. It's just missing.

Overall Score: 7/10

In comparison to rise its better in every way, that game was a complete joke and should've been a mobile game, but compared to world it definitely falls short.

This is the dumbest complaint clearly made by someone who didn't play World at launch. Launch MH:World didn't have any of these. Kulve Taroth got added three months later and Safi'Jiva, Fatalis and Alatreon were added at the end of Iceborne, its expansion. You're an actual idiot if you're comparing the amount of content and the difficulty of Wilds, which has just released, to World which had a full expansion and numerous title updates that added more monsters and master rank.

You could go play Worlds at a cheaper price with drastically more content and a playable frame rate with good frame times or you could spend 10x the price to go play Wilds just because it's new. MHWorld peak was 334k, this has a peak of 1.38M, that difference shows that a majority of the people don't even know the previous large budget entry in the series was better than the new one. Their perspective is that more players = better game. Go tell that to Banana and Starfield and Diablo 4.

Yeah i enjoy games that are properly optimised. Or they can push my PC to the limit for extremely good visuals. This game only eats resources for nothing amazing. There is no excuse.
Obviously if you enjoy it the way it is then good. I have a different set of standards for a 70euro game.

A lot of AMD cards are having massive problems with the game crashing on launch, even if they SHOULD be able to run it at ultra settings. Not just about how good your setup is if such a big portion of cards have to enable window's 8 compatibility just to get the game to run. Game looks great with this workaround outside of the entire ground texture flickering lol

So yeah, the game is having issues in terms of hardware compatibility. Just because you aren't on the receiving end doesn't mean nothing is wrong. Not to say I'm writing off the game as a whole, but I WILL be hoping for a patch soon
