As for why people are so retentive about it, its just efficiency dorks annoyed the hunt will take 15 more seconds to beat.

- repeat 2-3 times
- lands on the ground
- repeat rotation till it's time to capture/kill
That means instead of 25% damage contributed (with four players), they do sub 10%.
Yeah with how IG works in wilds made no sense to me XD
Why would anyone care what playstyles people like.

Capcom may have changed bits and pieces on how Aerial Bounce operates now, but it can still be abused to do zero DPS while remaining in the air completely safe. Is that how Aerial Bounce is supposed to be played? No.
Imagine a Greatsword user who just spams True Charge Slash and misses 80%. Is that how GS is supposed to be played? No. Thankfully, I don't see GS users do that. However, the cowardly Aerial Bounce (no DPS) users were a plenty in World. I just want people to keep an eye out for these cowardly, no DPS IG users in Wilds.
