the microtransactions were an obvious cash grab sure, but literally all the MT items in dragons dogma you could get in-game. All of which were accessible in early game.
The micro transactions in world were far worse with not only skins, but the insane character edit vouchers. No clue why you would compare it to a game that actually did MTs in an acceptable way.
Capcom always adds the most useless micro transactions around that only people with serious impulse spending problems buy, go blame the real cutthroats.

Better grab your torches and sharpen your pitchforks bois. How dare they try and make extra money without messing up the game in any way!
And the only one I cared about was the bikini for the handler as when you go to iceborne she complains about it being cold and I get a good laugh out of her for "deciding" to wear a bikini in a frozen tundra.
Worlds did not have 500$ worth of DLC on release
Everything else is just fluff and its on you if you want to waste money on that.
MH cosmetics are pretty decently price tho at usually 99 cents to 3 dollars average
