Am I the only Veteran that will wait for the Master Rank DLC to play?

As title says, for me Low Rank and High Rank is not really where the game play is at, I need Master Rank to have some challenge or I fall asleep.

Not to forget they probably need some time to work on the performance, not to forget balance changes and patch monsters. With Monster Hunter it really pays off to wait some to dive in, or you need to wait later when you are in the midst of it, lol.

I've been playing since the first on PSP. I don't have the patience to wait for MR.
If you can actually wait till the MR expansion is sold/bundled, you'll get the most bang for you buck and ideally, some perf issues will have been ironed out by then too.
So, props to you if you have the patience for that.

No thanks. I know there are people who enjoy them, but the constant changing of monster patters, the one shot carts, etc is just not fun for me

I'm gonna beat the hell out of the game and farm all the gear I can before MR lol. Probably spend hundreds of hours on some Kulve Taroth esque raid fight lol.

only? no, of course not, but i dont see the reason to wait anyway, you still have to do the content to get there, generally, not even accounting for side content that provides things

here is the problem as i see it ! its not just about end rank ! the game needs to have a steady difficulty increase not jsut be super easy for noobs to clear the story ! why because it screws up end game like it did with rise ! rise was way too easy the hunters way to strong too early much like wilds ! leading to end game being so hyper and out of control its just not that fun !
i replayed rise recently to double check this and yes the end game sucks balllllllzzz big reason most people are back on worlds! although low rank should not be insane the hunters need dialling back on ways to escape ways to quick sharpen hell the old games had the hunters fixed to the spot to heal with a animation of flexing that often would get people killed lol! so rather then push through he end game of this title i am more likely to play the story then the dlc story then return to worlds and GU!

No. For me, base World was more fun than Iceborne and if I had waited until Iceborne I would have missed out on fighting the added monsters on release (Kulve, Deviljho, etc...).

I've been playing Monster Hunter for almost 10 years now, and I have no idea what you're trying to say. I can't wait a minute longer to play this game. I'm downloading early, doing a pre-purchase and playing it the very second it is released on Steam. Just because something is not challenging enough doesn't mean I won't love it. The monsters. Did you see those monsters? Holly ♥♥♥♥ that ♥♥♥♥ looks fire!

I'm off work Friday and Saturday
I am going to hunt, grind, farm, forage, loot, and explore every inch of the map.
I will grow my stash of supplies to ungodly levels.
I will make every Greatsword in the game
And I will lend a hand to new hunters in the series to help them overcome a hunt they may be struggling with.
