I am a noob for playing dual blades?
In worlds i play the hammer first, but after a while a switched to DB. They just clicked with me. Same in Rise and now in Wilds Beta.....i feel so slow with the other weapons.

But are DB easy mode? I feel like i need the movement or get stomped to hard from most monsters.

Given their significant changes and buffs in WIlds - i will be joining you if that is the case.

Easy mode though? I don't think anyone would be naive enough to say DB are easy mode ....

No. You can play any weapon you want. I've been considering using them for the first leg of the game myself. It will be the first time I've ever played them seriously. I'll probably end up playing slash axe or SnS in the long run, but DB is looking good.

I'm gonna play full on devil's advocate and say that given how damn good DB is compared to worlds you are missing out if you don't!!! easy mode? noob? i'd argue the people who choose not to embrace them in all their newfound glory are the ones who are noobs and easy mode has NEVER been attirbuted to DB given they are not a weapon you are gonna 1 shot anything with.

DB has been given so much love in Wilds and the kit and moveset is the best i've personally ever experienced i think you are nuts not to atleast try them.

There is Insect Glaive which is the alpha chad. Then there is lesser chads with their lesser toys. Moral of this story is Insect Glaive and this brother the Switch axe is what you should be using.

DS is quite hard, no dodge no counter no block only atk. u need another weapon to make monster down then use DS to spin

Nothing wrong with using any of the weapons. They're all fun to use and *take this with a grain of salt* fairly balanced.

Play whatever you want, Longsword included, your own fun is the only thing that matters.

dont let anyone tell you otherwise, and if they try, block em.

If you play alone yes your own fun is the only thing that matters. If you play in a TEAM, then EVERYONE's fun matters. And that includes making sure to not hit your teammates every 2 seconds.

As an IG main, I will not only bounce everywhere when I can, but I will also cause a mount and then slam them down so I can go full enhanced combo on the tail. Only people who don't know how to IG spend their time flying.

Use what you want to use. Developers took time to put the artwork, animations, and mechanics in for dual blades. So.. clearly they intended for people to run them.

This isn't Dark Souls. We're not gonna shame people for using what's IN THE GAME.
