Wilds will have over ONE MILLION players playing on Day 1!
I, like a lot of you, have been seeing a lot of negative people posting on this forum talking about how Wilds is bad and they're not going to buy it. Mark my word, when Wilds comes out, all of those folks will be drowned out by the over ONE MILLION players posting and playing on release day (and thereafter!). :XmasJohnWizard:

Are you going to be one of the million people playing on release day, or one of the complainers?

New world had near 1M peak players.....did you want to be one of them?

Day 1 launches are usually problematic to begin with. server issues, bugs, etc etc.
I'd rather let other people be the test pigs so when I get around to playing its not got them issues.

Now will ip lay it ? sure, but like DD2 i'll wait until I know performance is there.

It's always fun to see what kind of numbers high profile releases pull in.

There's no need to worry about the negative folks on the forum though. They're almost always a vocal minority.

They tend to go away if they don't get the attention and/or steam points they crave.

I am....very curious indeed if my potato can run it

i doubt it, if you look at the hardware statistics on steam then the majority cannot even run this game

There were 250k people playing during Wild's open beta. Black Myth: Wukong also surpassed one million players and that game didn't have a reputation like Monster Hunter does.

Capcom put out a post on the 24th saying they are thinking about putting out a benchmark before the game comes out, so you can test and see if you can/can't. Worked wonders for black myth wukong =P.

The most players will play on PS5, but this will be the 1st ever MH game with cross-play servers.

1 million players online with steam is unlikely. 400k seems about right. This board however, would be flooded though. Most topics would be gone in about a second.

I don’t know, this is gonna be game of the year for 2025 if gta6 gets delayed to next year or beyond and this is one of the their biggest releases of all time since mhw bridged the gap between the monster Hunter fan base and mainstream media which the other games like rise were never able to do at that scale, I think this is likely gonna be double the success of world or even more.
This is going to be the Fallout 4 of Monster Hunter, make of that what you will.

Going by the Open Beta Test, I can't see 1 million steam users having the hardware capable of running Wilds. 8GB of vram is too high for the average steam player.

You shouldn't go by the beta test, because it was horribly optimized. They've since worked on it (So they said.) even the console version was having some issues. IT's why they said they are thinking about releasing a benchmark before the game goes live.

The OBT was a few months ago. I highly doubt 1 million steam users are willing to spend $300 for a GPU before Wild's release. There hasn't been an upsurge of GPU being sold lately. Even with Black Friday and all.

becasue people know next generation of gpu are coming early next year.

Also I am most curious as to how the Intel B580 will run Wilds as 250 is a lot mroe accessible for some people than 400+

That's exactly what I mean. No one is going to have their brand new GPU in time for Wild's release.
From the reviews I've seen, B580 seems to perform just like a 4060. Only because most recent games are not develop with Intel GPU in mind. $250 for the b580 that has 12GB or vram and performance is a great price.
