The only actual downsides to purchasing from these are
1. chance of key being late (low)
2. no refunds starting 48 hours before release or if you reveal/use the key
3. reviews won't count towards review score & you don't get Steam points
they work only for SP games AND I would never put my credit card there, unless is pre-paid one...
Still better use Green Man Gaming or Fanatical instead. Which are official sides.
No ? Bought many MP game from "shady" reseller, never had a single problem.
The sites others are talking about are working with Capcom, the discount stems from the fact Valve normally charges a 30% commission. The 30% saved is partially passed onto the consumer to entice them to buy on a third party platform that is more inconvenient than Steam. Capcom gives these sites keys, and collects money for the purchases in return. But Capcom or any publisher can only generate so many of these keys at once, and people might have to redeem those keys before more keys can be generated. So some purchasers can be left waiting hours or even days after the game is released just to get their keys on launch day. It happened with MH:Rise and Resident Evil 4 (2024).
Honestly, I kinda enjoy like everyone else to get a game as cheap as possible but with most MH Games, I gonna just buy them directly on steam or a store. MH deserves my cash, I love the games.
You completely made that up and we can tell. This is not how any of this works.
