I join tons of sos just to help people out, and the quest I see failed the most often are the zoh shia, jin dahaad, nu udra, uth duna and gore magala. Runner ups for most fails ive seen are Ray dau, Arkveld, Nerscylla and Quematrice... Yes, Quematrice.
The monsters do not matter that much. More what weapons the hunters are using and their overall experience.
I finally went looking for an answer and noticed hitting the R button on the controller while at Emma opened an entire new page of armor. Heh

Then I remember in Rise the moveset was slightly expanded, but its entire body was one huge Shot WEX-zone. Poor Anjanath is just a snotty dinosaur who never amounted to another.
Or are you talking about the annoying way you go looking for them, push through some vines and immediately find snot-dino right there going the other way? That happened surprisingly often. Doesn't hurt, but it is kinda annoying to be shoved out of the way.
