BAN BINOCULARS ONLINE
Binoculars ruin online hunts

They join to just scan using binoculars (for crown size) and if its not the one they are seeking they just abandon the hunt. Taking away space for people who want to join the hunt to finish the actual investigations.

If you play like this you a bum, crown achievement seeking bum :steamfacepalm:

After 100 hours in Wilds this is the most annoying sh*t during online hunts

Probably that's why you get so many error codes when you want to join a hunt too because so many bums joining and leaving but on your end you think there is space to join the investigations

Never thought one binocular in a game could be so devastating to online experience... :MHRISE_anger:

I've seen that happen exactly once yesterday, and it was only in the arena map. Who cares honestly. It's not a big deal.

Yeah OP is talking like the spot they fill can never get re-filled when that person leaves, but thats not how it works. Someone else will join, and from what i have seen the spot always gets re-filled quickly.
Why even go online to do that when they can do it themselves offline

Because its free to check online monster rather than spam resetting using guild points

No thanks. I was only able to finish the crown hunt because I had a 4-man online lobby where we all searched with binoculars, calling out any gold crowns we saw and starting a quest for it so we could all get the crown. Made things SO much easier.

If we banned Binoculars from online play, we wouldn't have time-saving cooperation like that.

That was me. Why are you fighting non-crown monsters online? Folks need their Big and Small crowns.

okay that's pretty stupid game design then.
I go around hunting for crowns with binos and open the fight for randoms to join. I just found a guardian rathalos and had a great time downing it with some randos.

That used to be the case in World. In Wilds it frees up the spot and allows others to join just fine

I play this game for fun, I don't care for crowns. This is something I notice when I host Arena hunts.

I like to host high deco count Arena tempered investigations that I saved up.

Almost 200 hours into Wilds this is driving me wild... :MHRISE_anger: :MHRISE_Felyne:

And someone above said the spot fills up quickly, yes it does but have you ever seen 10 randoms do that in a row? By the time you get actual players I killed the monster...
