Get this $70 price tag outta here
I'll just buy it on sale, no biggie. Just expressing disappointment seeing it.

Edit: This has nothing at all to do with affording the $70 price tag. I don't support AAA developers trying to push a new price ceiling when the vast majority of the US and several other countries are in economic hardship.

It is already on sale bud. I just got it through Fanatical. I was just looking around for fun after having got mhw/rise deluxe with the dlc the other day from them for $30. I just preordered it from them. They have all 3 marked for sale and you still get pre-order bonus...
Standard: 57.39----69.99
Deluxe: 73.79----89.99
Premium: 90.19----109.99

Yeah, unless I can find some sort of deal, I probably won't buy it at release. Everything is so expensive these days. The first things I cut from my expenses is games. It is what it is.

I saw your post and my heart dropped and thought I lost out getting it through Fanatical. I just went to the website and it shows Premium Edition at 92.94?

Monster hunter wild should cost $1,400 so when it got 95% you still need to pay $70

PLEASE CAPCOM MAKE THIS REAL

Because the true price of the game ain't 70. That's the starter price.

That's the thing people who defend this price hike don't get. It ain't about inflation, it's about lining pockets. If it were about inflation, companies would be cutting back on other monetization schemes as they raise the base price of the game, but instead, they're doubling, tripling, and quadrupling down on monetization.

People are making $17-$20 an hour flippin' burgers. You can easily afford this game with one day's worth of work. No excuses!

If you can't afford it, save up and buy it on sale. You're not going to die if you can't play it day one.
KoboldMage Oct 3, 2024 @ 2:58pm
Yeah, buying on sale is the smarter move. Let all us suckers beta test for you at full price

The problem is the US dollars. It went down the drain and brought the world down with it. It's extremely brutal with regional exchanges that has it as a main foreign currency reserve. Countries that move away, like BRICS, didn't suffer as much.
