Thoughts on Erik's character design and voice.

I am interested to hear everyone's thoughts on this new handler and their design.

Erik looks like a femboy from first impressions. I hope this isn't the case and when we first hear him speak he has bass in his voice. Lots of testosterone too.

You can hear him speak in the trailer, commenting on how amazing the Crimson Forest is when the bug is flying in front of him. Plus he speaks in the third trailer when he's looking at the LaLa Barina floret.

Clearly using a female VA, might not be that much of an issue depending on the character. If however I get any "I identify as" or "I go by", or "I used to be", I will not be pleased.

His voice reminds me the English voice actor of Chilchuck from Delicious in Dungeon. Design was a bit confusing. First time seeing him, most of us thought he was a girl til the most newest trailer.

I think I heard somewhere that it was the same actor but I don't know anything about VAs so don't quote me on that

Erik is hot. Yeah, he's a twink. Some men are pretty just like some girls are tomboys. This nuance exists and doesn't mean someone is trans. Erik is based off a real young man, look up MarvinmuffinJP and there's his model. In fact, he's an example of genetic beauty and rarity. They used a 'they' for his English voice actor when frankly, I think they should've left him with a male voice actor like in the Japanese and then it wouldnt have come off to some as woke swill.

I love Erik and honestly I wish we could choose to have him follow us around instead of that atrocious Alma.
