Nah im just gonna buy it off of a key reseller site 2 years from now. for half the price.
Everyone should be complaining and it blows my mind how many people defend the idea of spending so much money. I know it has a bigger studio and it's an established franchise, but there have been plenty of examples recently where that didn't stop it from being ♥♥♥♥ compared to some indie developed game of a similar type.
The simple reality is some people just dont understand the value of their money and will blow any load to get something they have idolized in their own minds. Ethics be damned.
Yes, everyone should wait until this is in some sort of bargain bin. I have stated before and will continue to state, if they can't make a game good enough to make up for production through sales at $60? They should not demand more money for their garbage to make up for said production costs.
IF this keeps working out for them, at their next big circle jerk of studios, they will just say LETS DO IT AGAIN, they idiots will buy anything at this point!
Nah its what publishers are desperately trying to make happen.
I'm gonna get it but at 50% to 60% off
Counterpoint - microtransactions.
They still make extra money, so it doesnt bloody matter what they are.
The context was "10 dollar price increase over 30 years is acceptable". Counterpoint was devs make more money from MTX than they ever did in the past. It doesnt matter what the MTX entail. It still makes the price hikes unsubstantiated. You can now stop bootlicking.
