Best armor

What is your favorite armor and why? Mine is elite riot gear lr dld also like any armor like this except the ncr ranger.

I quite like Joshua Graham's armour. Extra crit chance is always nice, and it has a fairly high DT for such a light armour.

Usually I just roll with a Leather Armour, or Wanderer's Leather Armour until I play through Honest Hearts and get Joshua's gear.

Not a huge fan of the bulky Ranger gear or power armours.

Power armour seems like a waste of time...you have to find someone to train you on it, while it increases your STR it also weighs 45 itself, and decreases your AGL, never find it to be that effective anyway.
The OWB Stealth is great, if not annoying to listen to, they should have given the suit more dialogue. OR the Regulator duster from the lonseome drifter

All I have in NV is Reinforced Leather Armor so I dont know....

Cant recall what I used in FO3, used alot of energy weapons in that, was probably some energy + heavy armor.

#1. NCR Ranger Combat Armour (looks good, is moderately rare, and has a nice mask for anyone whose face looks like it was bashed in like a bag of carrots)

#2. Raider Badlands Armour (female version looks pretty good, but this armour is bad@ss on female raider characters that I modded to not have neon pink hands)

#3. Merc Troublemaker Outfit (again, looks nice on female characters)

Depends on the type.
The T-51b has no agility loss and it does also block radiation well.
And the helm oddly enough gives +1 charm.
It`s still quite heavy tho, I agree on that.

The old model, T-45d, is indeed worthless. Except for spare parts to repair the new model.

I`ve been walking around alot in the combat armor mark 2. A bit expensive, but it does the job well.

I forgot my the 6 duster#2 added weight the dt is actually pretty good for a duster and if u get lightstep and all the weight perks you can carry alot of weapons and ammo all the time n i loooks pretty cool for screenshots, joshua grahams armor is pretty cool also but im big fan of ranger type armor providing it dont have a faction

also in nv remnisep power armor is pretty awesome to find it dont mess up ur agility too bad and great choice for irriated areas if u find any.... you got the helmet n the giant cazzador cave and the suit is across the river before u go to the dam becarefull though theres a ♥♥♥♥ ton of death claws across the river or do arcades side quest they will give a suit

As I said elsewhere, I used the Winterized T-51b in F3. Usually in NV I go with the Lightweight Leather Armor from the Courier's Stash at first, then move to the basic Combat Armor you can find at Durable Dunn's Wrecked Caravan, then move to the Combat Mk II you can find in the Follower's Safehouse. Then I move to either the Stealth Suit MK II from OWB or the NCR Courier Duster in Lonesome Road, whichever I do first. 25 extra carrying lbs. ftw. :3

You're right about the T -51b, that being said, while I'm all over the power armour in F3, I shun it in fnv, lots of other great options
