lily won't take her medicine?

okay, the wiki page explains how to complete lily's companion quest.
at the part where you are supposed to witness her taking her medicine, it says that she says "medicine time".
i waited the 2 days and then walked around some more, and she said "medicine time" and i looked at her and she didn't take the medicine and I still can't ask her about it.
i left the game alone watching her for 20 minutes more and she never takes the medicine.

i tried reloading several times and she still won't take the medicine to advance the quest.

how do i fix this?

i can't find anything on the internet about it, everyone says that she takes it when she says "medicine time" but she won't

well, all the sources say the part where you have to fast travel is supposed to be after she takes her medicine and after you ask her about it, i still have not been givien the option to ask her about it despite hearing her taking it.

Play around with the variables. You can list them with

sqv 13e510

To change a variable (in these cases it's usually from a 0 to a 1), you need to use a

set 13e510."<variable name>" to <value>

formula. The quotation marks are necessary too.

From memory you could force it by entering a cell, and waiting for an hour then leaving the cell and waiting for ten seconds.

You need to take Lily into combat first. After taking damage there will be pop up "Lily has suffered a psychotic break and will continue fighting until combat is over". After combat ask Lily and she says she doesn't always take her medicine becuase they make her memory fuzzy and somethings she doesn't want to forget. Few days later she will play a recording.
