Silus treatment question:
I'm on the side of the legion, and I want to help Silus, but the NCR women wont let me in because I gotta do a bunch more ass kissing for the NCR. However my status is hated, so I don't know how much ass I gotta kiss to appeal to her. Is there anyway I can legitimately get in to help Silus without console codes? I haven't done any NCR quests, but with the hated status, I wonder if I can redeem myself since you don't get much fame for NCR quests, and killing Legionaries is not going to happen.

Also while I'm here, I wanted to ask, my ENB is Dynamo, and when I get in an angle where the shotgun I have or any gun, gets too close to the screen, the whole games vision sparks for a moment, goes black then slowly restores like my computer blinked, a flash of light occurs then I'm opening my eyes again. Is this a known error with ENB or is there something to fix it? it gets annoying when in tight spaces, and the shotgun gets to close its sparking every few seconds.

Have you tried murdering your way through the problem?

yes, couldn't get entrance to the door. Her invisible key returns to neverland upon her death. And its not pickpocketable since its well, invisible.

Hmm, that's too bad - that would be a very appropriate Legion solution to that quest set.

But I suspect there's no non-NCR way through this. The Legion story is pretty barebones and almost everything you do in the game assumes that you're pursuing one of the other faction storylines.

Screw Silus, He is a traitor but I suppose you can wear NCR disguise and give NCR dog tags to that guy iCarl Mayes in Forlon Hope

Silus may be a traitor but its not for my legionary to decide his fate, its Caesars. So for roleplay's sake, my character wants him to face justice at the hands of Caesar, face his punishment and live or die, remains to be seen.

Ok ether get a pardon and kiss up to the NCR or wear a disguse and do some good deeds for them, oh and bring something to kill the traitor like a silenced gun in the locker

He's not a traitor - at least not until you convince him to turn. He's a hypocrite and a secret coward - and that's the key to breaking him (if you're going NCR).

There is a way to free him.

But try a disguise (which will negate your 'hated' status).

And there's this

On PC, if, for any reason, the Courier is unable to initiate the quest through dialogue with Boyd (or simply wishes to bypass the reputation check), the door can be unlocked via console commands, which will force the quest to proceed as normal and can be finished for either faction.

He points out Ceasar is mentally unstable, but anyone who can see Ceasar is mentally unstable shouldn't be in the legion.

*thumbs up*

Though this does show that education is alive and well within the Legion. Which throws into doubt alot of assumptions about their societal structure.

k thanks guys I got into and freed him for Caesar's judgement. Thanks for the tips and also the interesting dialogue about his betrayel, or thoughts on Caesar. ultimately though my character will let Caesar decide his fate.

Essentially if you go to McCarran and not get shot at, you have to play it like a Frumentarius. Be a spy, deceive… even help the enemy, if needed. You can be a Legion player with Idolized NCR status or vica versa: the NCR's best lapdog, who also has access to the Legion safehouse and Caesar's Favor.
