KEYBOARD NOT WORKING

So i installed the game. go to play it. cant walk or do anything with the keyboard. mouse is fine. please help. everything works fine out of the game. tried to validate the cache and i get 1 file failed to validate. i dont know what to do. and yes i uninstalled the reinstalled it twice. ive tried everything please help

Do you have a controller or any other peripheral plugged in? They mess up with the controls and settings, especially controllers. Having one plugged in will make it become the default playing device, and in this game can't be swapped between while the game is active.

no just keyboard and mouse. and its a brand new pc i got yesterday

occams razer. check the key bindings. sometimes they get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up for no reason.

Removing your controller from Windows.

im having the same issue, all my keys are bound but i cant crouch, when i bring up the pip boy i cant switch from the weapons section to the armor section, and the controls at the bottom of the loot menu screen are missing and for some reason the space bar closes the loot menu
