Also, start from center, from Caesar. Kill him first, move in a circle from there.
Then take the fort by first clearing the LZ with the gunship, then landing your platoon and securing the LZ. As you advance, call in airstrikes on difficult targets from the orbiting gunships while your platoon goes tent to tent, clearing out any resistance and ensuring none of the Legion are left to the rear of your advance.
I know what you're going to say - that's too easy. And its true - you won't need to fire a shot, personally.
But by this point you aren't some low level officer. You are becoming a major player in the politcal landscape of the Mojave. If you're follwoing the House (or especially the Wildcard) you are basically in control of your own city-state. When you need to have someone dead, you have people for that now - you aren't dealing with individual battles but are concerned with winning a war.
That scenario sounds like it needs some kind of slow-mo mod on. For the entire attack. And maybe some Metallica in the background.
EDIT: Actually, Ride of the Valkyries would be way more fitting!
enter the tent, immediately leave
wait for them to follow
Caesar → Sky (in slowmotion)
I couldn't find his body :(
