I use it. I do find it annoying though, so I made myself a mod to prevent it from giving me all the items at game start. Instead they are given to a couple of dead NPC's around the Wasteland. More fun that way.

sounds like a very interesting mod. I stored everything "extra" in one of empty trailers with radios over on the west side... south of good springs.

I never used it. Got a mod that puts it to levelled lists, so all of them are drops or vendor items, but still never found any use for any gear, even on vanilla. It's just the usual pre-order bonus: looks shiny, but in the end you never end up using it. (Frankly, the last game I used any pre-order additional stuff in it was Baldur's Gate 2.)

I dont mean geting every cap its worth, I mean just dumping it all on Chet right in the beginning. You only get about 600 caps for all of it because he runs out of money. And since your barter skill is pretty crap at first unless you specifically buffed it, 600 caps wont get you that far.

Considering I usually have low charisma and barter, it barely gets me anything. I prefer to focus into combat skills and medicine at first.
