How can i get the Legion to stop following me?

I've had enough, they would just zoom towards me just out of view and just ♥♥♥♥ me, They are so over powered! I use Energy weapons and when i see them sprint towards me i sneak but they just run to where i am immediately anyway and I can't get away from them, as soon as they start shooting me i'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥!

Is there anyway i can get them to stop ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ me 24/7???

Make ammends with them? Or just hang out in NCR occupied territory all the time so you'll have backup.

Whoever's side you choose in Vegas, you're always gonna have people hunting you down.

You can try, but sooner or later in the story, you have to pick a side, and then assassin's start turning up...

It's the quest Ring-a-Ding or something like that. When you complete it, you get a ONE TIME pardon from the Legion so it's up to you to use up this pardon immediately if the Assassins are giving you 10 kinds of hell or save it up so you can give the Legion hell (Just don't attack Fortification Hill).

just get a tri beam laser rifle (GRA) equip it, point it in their general direction (North, south east or west)

click fire. until they are no longer a problem.

a multplas rifle works similiarly.

That is not completely true. You can pretty much stay neutral/loved by both NCR and Legion up until the last few missions. If you play your cards right with both factions, you can 100% the whole game without ever meeting a hit squad from any side.

As for OP's trouble: start wearing Legion armour, just make sure to quickly remove it when you spot NCR units. You can hotkey armours too for a quick swap.

I find that, as long I see them coming, I can outrun them the other way and they stop chasing you after a bit.
