Gun Using Legionnaire Build? (Roleplaying)

Did you watch Hellsing Ultimate? Do you know who Anderson(Crazy motherf*cker who shouts "Amen!" to people while killing them.) is?

He is "prufying the world with killing the ones who sinned.". Like Legion(see: nipton)

I want to be like him except i will be using Guns and Power armor.

See I will side with Legion for a long time. Then i will see how legion is (how can say it. ummm.)
sinner. (Slaving the tribes who sided with them, raping murdering people in the name of "prufying world from sinners.")

I will see i will become what i am fighting and join NCR at late game(probably when idiscover that CEaser has tumor.)

The ones who watched Hellsin Ultimate will get what i just said up there.


Now to the point.

I will use guns like i said(maybe melee at late game) i will use power armor.

I cant decide which to use;
The boomer: Killing sinners with Fatmans and missiles to the face.
The sniper: Who can wipe out an entire camp with a sniper rifle and a good spot.
The badass: Using miniguns or that sort of stuff to kill people.

Please help.
You dont need to write SPECIAL or stats but i would be most appreciated if you do.

If you want to roleplay a Legion soldier, you should focus on close-range even with firearms. SMGs, carbines, assault rifles… the usual close to mid ranged, mostly urban style combat weapons. You also need a good close-range combat skill (melee or unarmed) since all their recruits had to earn their guns by killing with their hands.
Otherwise your proposed build is just another generic grunt, but this time doing Caesar's missions.

The Legion really likes melee combat. (Did you fight in the Arena yet?) Have you tried a build that's good at spears and other throwable weapons for ranged attacks? Seriously, it can be fun to play that way. Of course, Legion assassin squads use guns, and if you're wearing power armor, they'll use pulse weapons too. I've never noticed any Legion snipers, though. Sniping seems to be more of an NCR specialty.

There are Legion snipers, but very few of them, and even then except from one they use the marksman carbine.

Use some Legion armor or get the Legion Courier duster from Lonesome road.

I suggest focusing on a bit of melee - either unarmed or weapons. Mainly because that's the primary fighting style of the Legion, and also because it will save you a lot of ammo for later use. I'd also pick some close-quarters ranged weaponry, like a shotgun or SMG, maybe a high powered pistol. Grenades and mines are very helpful too. Use them to thin out hordes of enemies, or lay traps to lead enemies into.
