How to use steam key?

Hi, I just started using steam again recently and I've forgotten how to redeem/use a steam key. I bought fallout:NV ultimate edition from kinguin.net and they sent me the code via email. Where do I enter the code?

1. Click the Games Menu.
2. Choose Activate a Product on Steam...
3. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the process.

And based on the mouse icon it was actually a working key. You should play the lottery, considering the sheer amount of fake keys they sell.

Yeah, just realised that they are a shady company and that there is a good chance my game will get revoked as the key is most likely stolen. Should probably do more research next time?

If you are paying money over the internet… yeah, it's generally a good idea. There are many legit resellers though with excellent prices and sales, sometimes (well, quite frequently) beating Steam and Steam sales even.
You can pretty much trust in sites that are listed on IsThereAnyDeal, which itself is a universal price alert service.
That and bundles (if you are into non-AAA games) can literally save you hundreds, if not thousands of dollars on a few dozen games. (I mean I got 40 games in my library for less than 50 bucks in the past 4-5 month or so, and an additional 20 for giveaway fuel on top of that, mostly from bundles.)

Also, don't worry, Bethesda doesn't seem to care about stolen/shady keys. Probably because most of those were "acquired" from 1C, the Russian distributor of this game.
