The two most common fix for similar audio issues are:
When i go to configue I only have the option of stereo.. No 2.0:/
Are you on a laptop?
Do you have some sound-related dashboard constantly running on your task bar? (Not referring to the Windows Sound Mixer/volume adjuster.)
(Did you try the reinstall I mentioned?)
No Desktop
I have one called Realtek HD Audio Manager
And I haven't partially for the reason I have no clue where it is xD
Do you have AC3Filter? You can tell easily, it is a directory with the same name under Program Files (x86). There is a certain option in it that can make this exact same problem.
