Fight or Flee?

So I've been doing Honest Hearts. Well crap I dunno, should the Sorrows flee or fight? If one includes killing Joshua, please tell me. I like his armor and pistol (Teehee). Thanks in advance!

You don't have to ever kill any of the main NPC's in the game, not even Salt-Upon-Wounds (if you have the speech check).
I'd say it's up to you if you want to help Joshua or help Daniel. Revenge or pacifism?
And you get all of the unique weapons and armor, including Joshua's gear, in a footlocker after you finish the DLC.

The whole moral of the plot there is to make you decide which is "better"… or, to be more realistic, which choice do you feel is not as bad as the other.
