Help with fnv on 21:9 monitor ?

I changed falloutprefs.ini , as in this link , http://www.wsgf.org/dr/fallout-new-vegas/en , putting isizeW to 2560 instead and default fov to 85. also that rendered terminal zoom to about 75 which i dont know much about. My problem is that when i go through a door / loading screen in the game after doing all of this, a black rectangle covers most of the screen for a good few seconds which is really annnoying. can annyone help ?

I'm having the same issue with my 21:9 monitor. I'm not sure if there's something in the .ini files that can be changed to resolve this.

That's a known, weird graphical issue with the game. It officially supports only 16:9 and 4:3 resolutions. All other aspect ratios get this black rectangle glitch.

wow thanks for the reply i apreciate it after all this time, trying the fix now as i still come back to the game
