The latter is way more popular, although IMO the former is simpler and works better with everything. It only has the disadvantage of turning all bottles into empty soda bottles when you fill and drink them.
Thx Tagalby, one again :-)
Was just thinking how awesome it would be to have a mod that add a risk of damaging filled bottles when you're shot ! Idem for the food !
you should have bought the Pack with all the DLC when you bought the game if you just bought it. but you can look in the game and its got recipes. and just add a campfire recipe in the geck thats like empty bottle + bottlecap = water. theres one for soda theres one to turn dirty water into clean water. so yeah.
not really something I'd generally BOTHER with, since theres plenty of water and plenty of bottled water. but easy to do regardless.
But the mod Tagalby advised makes things quite easy while waiting for a bargain on FNV dlcs.
In the end, if I understand well, old war blues is THE DLC to get if I want to enhance realism, no ?
@ Ladez : waw, it would be awesome. Because with the recipe/mod system it's not so difficult to always have enough water bottles and this fantatstic realism might become tedious in the end. Then why not get rid of it and assume that your character will by default always make sure he has enough reserves.
But if you add a system that makes fights randomly lethal for food and H2O reserves, then, it can't be tedious anymore. And finding yourself in the middle of nowhere with major deshydraration a crippled leg can and some broken glass can happen again.
EDIT ; This is what I find awesome with the realism modes in general it's that it an open world, exploration might become too easy and boring as you level up. But with the right realism options, even the most powerfull character won't get outa troubles. It keeps the game from being boring for me..
