What do I do with all my caps?

I have about 25k in a caps and another 50k in misc items. Are there any cool weapons or gear I should buy? Also I still haven't picked a side yet (ie. NRC, cesars legion, independent vegas) and I'm level 30.

You've made it to the point of the game where you've got more caps then you could ever hope to spend. I usually buy up ammo wholesale and use it to make the superior hand loaded stuff. Of course, my last playthrough was with an unarmed specialist, so I basically had nothing to spend it on.

The Lonesome Road DLC has "Red Glare," a weapon with very expensive upgrades. It's not a great weapon, but having all of the upgrades gives an achievement. Otherwise, I second the implants recommendation.

Stockpile on ammo so it is not a problem any more.
Buy some unique guns for the collection.
Get a few implants.
Get Project Nevada, get even more implants, and spend a truckload of money on upgrading and installing them.

A collect-all-unique-items challange requires about 5-600,000 caps though.
