Installed NVAC properly?
So my FNV game kept crashing a lot like every fifteen minutes either during loading or just when I was walking in the world when it crashed I get the FNV not responding windows looking for a solution. On the nexus I saw NVAC so I downloaded it to my nexus mod manager. I still get crashes but instead of getting the window pop up of the game just froze when I get to the FNV launcher and look at data files the nvac.dll is in the plugins folder. I read the page and it says to check the nvac.log or the nvse.log but i dont see a .log file I see text documents that are nvse and nvac and i also see files that are log0 and log1. I don't know what I am doing I read the mod description and I cant make heads or tales of it.
Please help.

First make sure that you have installed NVSE, since NVAC is an NVSE plugin and therefore requires it.

When you've installed NVSE, test that it's working by typing this command into the game console:
GetNVSEVersion
It should return a 4 with the latest stable version and a 5 with the latest beta.

To install NVAC, the nvac.dll file must be placed in the following directory:
Fallout New Vegas\Data\NVSE\Plugins

To check if NVAC is working, look for the nvac.log file in the game's root installation directory.

Sorry I forgot to make that clear I do have NVSE installed and along with nexus mod manager I have the fallout mod manager do to so many people saying its better than the nexus one. I have the nvac.dll in the plugins folder. Maybe I am confused but isn't the root installation directory not the folder named Fallout New Vegas in computer/OS(C:)/Program Files (x86)/ Steam/SteamApps/common

Okay ignore my previous response I am in the root directory I see a nvse and nvac see but the file type is text documents is that the files I want

I forgot to respond, sorry for that. Wasn't my intention to ignore you.

You can see the filetypes by going into the file properties (L-Alt + double click.)

If those files are there the extensions have been loaded.

I'd also add that NVAC isn't a magic tool. It can prevent certain type of crashes, but mainly just tries to keep the game together in the memory. Using NVAC won't guarantee you will never crash, especially if you have a bad load order or overburden the engine.
