Can't trigger Raul's sidequest

I just got Raul as a companion and spoke to Loyal. I got Raul's story, and tried the same with Ranger Andy, I exhausted every dialogue option but Raul says nothing when we leave?

You also spoke to Bittersprings? (NCR Sniper) at Camp Mc Carran (or, if you completed the Three card bounty quest, Bittersprings will moved to at Camp Forlon Hope).

Maybe try, to see if the quest itself activates.

Have you tried speaking with Ranger Andy, then speak yourself to Raul? Step outside, then speak to Raul?

Yep, tried that too, both inside and outside.

Found on the wiki that Ranger Andy can be bugged. You might want to look that up.

I would still try to complete the mission dialogue with sniper Bittersprings first. I'm not to comfy with consolecommands ;)

Unlikely, since I use those all the time to advance this quest. Make sure you type them exactly. Including the quotation marks.

When in a known companion quest trigger area and it doesn't fire.

Have your character sit down ( in a chair etc ) and then stand up...viola !

Worked wonders for Veronicas quest triggers,

I tried:

set "000e61a5".MetRangerAndy to 1

I get that "000e61a5" doesn't exist.

This is not even a DLC quest to possibly mess up the first digits. Do yo get something back to the command 'sqv e61a5'?
