Are there repercussions for killing vulpes early?

I'm doing a new playthrough where my goal is to literally destroy all leigon i come across. But when i first arrived in nipton i killed vulpes and his gang. Then immediatley failing the quest cold cold heart and one other i cant remember.

Does this mean i will never be contacted by the leigon because i know he is the guy that speaks to you after your main strip quests begin.

No, you will only be harassed by assassins from the start of the game. You will still get pardoned by the next spymaster, but you cannot complete the side quests he would have given to you.

the only thing is that you'll miss out on one of the Legion quests. no big deal unless you are doing a "Bad Guy" play through.
