trying to do the wheel of fortune quest, but boxcars wont say anything to me.

If that happens you should reset the quest. Since it is the second stage with no variables set yet, it is safe and works sometimes. If you don't want to walk, just use prid and player.moveto to teleport between Logan and Boxcars.

Apparently you can't do this quest if you had already met Boxcars earlier and gave him the maximum amount of Med-X (which I did, because I'm such a nice guy).

For anyone searching who finds this thread, here is how to fix it:
- Open the console, default key is ~
- Type in: resetquest 131E7C
- This will reset Boxcars dialog options to before you gave him the Med-X ("Booted" quest), and he will now talk about NCR supplies and direct you to the cave.

You should just need this: startquest 131E7C.

The bug is caused by the VNipton quest being stopped, which prevents all Nipton dialogue working for Boxcars, Oliver Swanick, Gabban, and Vulpes Inculta.
