My DLC doesn't download

I have the Ultimate Edition of Fallout: NV, but whenever I download it it leaves the DLC out. I went to Bethesda support and they said this was an issue with steam rather than the game. What should I do?

mmm ultimate edition should have the DLC's included with the game, not a seperate download. You only download them seperate if you buy the NV game, then buy the individual DLCs. The ultimate edition game has them already in the game.

Go to your data files make sure you have them and are checked. Most of the time the ultimate edition (and GOTY fallout 3) won't have them automatically checked.

I've already tried this. It does not download the DLC at all. It isnt on my computer at all and the only thing that the data files shows is the Caravan Pack for some reason.

Verify game integrity to see if the dlcs download?

Verified and it did not download the DLC. I think it's misinterpreting my copy to be a normal game rather than the ultimate edition. It says that I own both in the store but I purchased the ultimate edition only.

You don't own any New Vegas DLC. If you can see a "Fallout New Vegas Ultimate - Eastern" here, then contact Steam support and tell them that your account didn't get the DLC.
If you see "Fallout: New Vegas (RU)" instead, you only bought/received the base game.
And if you have no Eastern or (RU) there… then how the hell did you get the Western version in the CIS region?!

well i want to know how he doesn't have the dlc's yet his achievements say hes done old world blues, honest hearts, etc. Something fishy going on .

You can get those achievements while playing without… erm… "owning" the DLC.

It just says retail. It doesnt tell me whether it's Russian or Eastern. I bought the game from Amazon. I recieved an install disk and a code. The DLC used to work wayy back when I first played but now it does not download. I recently purchased a new Win 8 computer while my last one was 7. I dont know if this changes the situation or not.

Retail just means you activated it with a code acquired outside of Steam. My question was about whether you can see "Ultimate" there or not. If not, then you don't actually own the DLCs.

Yes, it does say that I own the Ultimate Edition.

Here. Do you have a screenshot saying "Ultimate" there? The store will always say you own it since UE is just a bundle.

It doesn't say Ultimate Edition. That's weird, because I purchased the Ultimate Edition and have also used the DLC before. I brought this to the steam support site now to figure that out.

Only they can help, but if your purchase history doesn't say it's UE, they won't really do much. You'd probably have to contact amazon if they sold base game key as Ultimate.
