Is meeting benny the end of (main quest) game.
I had gotten to new vegas by level 10 - Not speeding through, doing some mission on the way.

So I Confronted Benny, Ended up in a room and was then killed and spawned back into the same room. Killed again.

I used a previous save to get out of that. Then went googling for info.

I have gotten myself a little confused here. It seems getting to Vegas at low level (10) is quite common, and most are saying the majority of quests come out of Vegas, so getting to Benny couldn't be the end.

I see other peoples world maps that have LOTS of locations marked. Mine has barely twenty.

At the moment I am level 15 - I have one mission open from Mr House (House Always Wins) Kings Gambit, from freeside, and Ring-a-ding-ding.

But it's all feeling quite direction-less.

Question is.

Do I go see Benny now ?

Thanks.

You're far from the end.

You now have to pick a side (either way, you;ll have to kill Benny).

You now have to decide whether to help Mr. House (the House always wins quests), NCR (For the Republic), Caesar (Render Unto Caesar) or fight for yourself (wild card).

For House, just follow his orders (kill Benny first).

For NCR, speak with the NCR ambassador once you're approached by a messenger.

For Legion, deal with Benny and leave the Tops, a legion messenger will aproach.

For yourself, find Yes Man in Benny's room in the tops.

(if you don't kill Benny in the tops, then he'll be in Caesar's camp).

Time to decide.

I have done a bunch of quests for NCR - also another about getting boomers to help (which I did)

But I think I understand the direction much better now.

It's what I'm here for. (since you've already done a bunch of NCR quests, the Legion path may be blocked for you)

Find Benny is the... 50% of the main quest. Now only choose faction and move to the end

But there are many side quests, i usually get to The Strip with lvl 20. No detours.

That's more or less the answer I was expecting/looking for.

Much appreciated.

I'll continue onto the Dam via the Kings Gambit quest then.

Thanks for that, I just needed a penny to drop to explain exactly where I was. you did that to a T.

Sorry above, I replied to your question to another user. :rfacepalm:

You know, all you have to do is use a stealth boy and shoot Benny with a silenced hand gun. I did this with a terrible sneak skill and gun skill. No need to get ambushed. ;) Also please don't say you did the hard way to get into the Strip! Just get some NCR clothes and use the train. Job done. I read all these people paying or doing quests to get in to the Strip, lmao!

You don't need to pay though.

Im level 35 and I just hit the strip, but only for a quick tour. I have two more DLCs to finish (dead money and lonesome road) before I make several master saves and then run through each storyline.

Game has been a blast so far. :gasgiant:

Actually, you don't need to kill Benny. But it's very difficult to keep Benny alive.
You'll need to kill all the Legion at The Fort.
