texture problem

The texture for the scope for the hunting rifle is messed up. The textures change only when I add the scope onto the rifle. I've tried deactivating and reactivating Archive Invalidation, I also have Millenia's weapon retexture project and NMcs texture pack.

Seems like a mesh problem. Millenia's texture pack needs a compatibility patch for PN. To my knowledge it doesn't affect vanilla weapons, but still… try to just simply reinstall the texture pack.

I've done a few things and without Millenia's retextures the weapons look fine, but with it installed the hunting rifle get's messed up with the scope and scope and extended clip. The 12mm SMG also get's messed up when I apply any mod, single or in combination.

i have had only the WRP installed and when i added a scope to the hunting rifle it would get that weird texture you're talking about, i have YET to find a solution online, i've been on Millenia's WRP nexus forum and haven't heard anything yet, though i have found other people with this problem i have yet to find a solution.

If your using a GRA vertion of the 12x7 smg there will always be texure problems adding mods the normal one should not have issues as long as you don't have a 12.7 mm pistol retexure. Does boone's hunting rifle have this problem? If not I wouldn't bother trying to fix it hunting rifle isn't that great in new vegas and millenia isn't updating WRP anymore so unless someone else makes a fix it's going to stay like that.

its just WRP i didn't have anything else installed, found a fix for it at least for the hunting rifle, and i like the hunting rifle, to me it seems alot more accurate than other rifles at least until i get to Gun Runners and get a sniper rifle, usually run with that (if i have the ammo) or the cowboy repeater and a shotgun for close range fighting (with shotgun surgeon it works well for the DT) i just guess i'll look for texture overwrites for other weapons when i see they have this problem...

I just don't like it since it got a massiv nerf and the lever action rifles are much more effective at making the profligates heads pop while also fitting the theme better.

some of those guns just don't seem accurate to me though, the lever action rifle that i think is from a mod or not im not sure (you can't mod it at all) has that horrible site on it and fires too slow, plus the barrel site seems to never hit for me, the repeater and hunting rifle do it for me at least until sniper and the anti-material come into play for sniping purposes then the biggest baddest shotgun i can find and shotgun surgeon for the closeness. But maybe its just me and i can't aim with the other guns lol.

Let YUP overwrite WRP's files. In other words install YUP after WRP.
