Cheats: How to duplicate items from the game and mods

Here's how to duplicate items in the game, but there is one issue, first you must aquire the item for this manner.

if you have the item, like say a M1911 and you wanna duplicate it, put it in a empty storage box and click it whilst in console and put in showinventory
it should list the item's ID code, then you simply type player.additem <insert code given> 1.
And you should aquire your item.

that works too, but not with mods.

True. For those I just use FNVEdit, especially if I cannot find one of the items in the first place.
