The Most Pratical Fatman Ammo
What do you guys consider to be the most pratical fatman ammo and why?

I would have to say the most practical would be the timed mini-nuke since you can use it inside buildings without blowing yourself up by running behind the indestructible walls for cover. You can also shoot it on the ground like a mine or aim and hit the enemies at point blank range which can cripple them causing enemies to flinch and take tremendous damage from being at the heart of the explosion .

The most practical is the fata mine. Best improved hold-out weapon.

When is a fatman ever practical? It's overkill for... pretty much everything.

Least practical, but most enjoyable: Big Kids, especially paired with splash damage.

Since Behemoths don't exist, and AMRs do, the Fatman is obsolete.

Practical? Tiny tots from afar in case you bump into a large group of enemies.
Since that happens extremely rarely, the Fat Man itself is just an interesting piece of equipment though, not a viable weapon.

I found low yield is best for hunting coyotes.

Fatman and practicality aren't meant to be used in the same sentence. It's a joke weapon.

The Missle Launcher is already overkill for anything in the vanilla game.

I never understood the appeal of heavy weapons. The game is meant to be played tactically, strategizing with skill set, stealth, and efficient combat to make work of hostile enemies. When you've got a weapon of mass destruction, the game becomes one-click win. Deathclaw quarry? Drop a mininuke in there. Fffllllling. Done.
