I lost all my DLC in New Vegas
I recently moved my steam folder to another hard drive. All games seemed to work perfectly except Fallout New Vegas. I can play the game perfectly but i have lost all my DLC. I did have them all before I moved my steam folder, so I tried verifying the game integrity, but that did not do anything. When i go to the DLC list for Fallout New Vegas it doesn´t say that they are in library but I can buy them again. I don't want to do that so i was wondering if anyone has a solution. Thanks.

Just checking but did you actually buy the DLCs the last time (Either individually or via the Ultimate Ed.)? If you did, you may want to send a ticket to Steam support.

I just checked your library and you don't own the DLC's, or at least not Dead Money, Honest Hearts or the Couriers Stash. Those are the only three that list in players lists of games.

Since you only have 44 hours logged, it's unlikely you've played any of the 4 DLC's. At least not on pc.

I played Honest Hearts and i tracked the sierra madre casino. i didn't play dead money because i wanted to level my character because my friend told me it was difficult on a low level character.

Steam doesn't lose things you own.

You used pirated versions of the DLCs for the legal game. Download them again, or cough up the handful of dollars for the DLCs from steam.

I got it on a site that i can't name here because steam censores it. i didn't pirate them. i know i don't have any proof i just wanted to see if anyone had the same problem or get a solution. i didn't ask for accusations of pirating and i'm not asking for free copys of the dlc. if you don't have a tip on how to recover them legitimately, please don't reply to this post.

There's nothing to 'recover.' You probably forgot that you pirated the DLCs. No one really cares that you did. I pirate games and other software all the time, and have been since 1997.

My point was, steam didn't lose them. You simply never bought them. If you want to play those DLCs, give steam a couple dollars, or pirate them again.

If they're not listed under library>games>new Vegas>DLCs, then you don't own them. All versions of new Vegas will be listed as ultimate edition, because steam has a terrible system to deal with games and software that's part of bundles.

OP, what does this list say:
https://store.steampowered.com/account/
What is your New Vegas called EXACTLY on this list?

I bought a game code for a bit cheaper on another site so it isn't listed there.

Impossible, all your Steam products are listed on the list, even if they were added as keys.
Also, I just realised Steam re-structured that part, so look up on this list:
https://store.steampowered.com/account/licenses/
Because if you can see the "Ultimate" word in there, then it is Valve messing up things. If not, then you indeed used pirated DLC, which still work without problems in the game due to the nature of the engine (it is impossible to add DRM on DLCs for these games).

ok thanks. maybe i didn't have the dlc, i think i did but maybe i'm just on drugs or something. but i know for a fact that i didn't pirate the dlc. i love the fallout series and i wouldn't pirate anything from obsidian or bethesda. thanks anyway.
