Presidential Suites...Tops, or Lucky 38?

Lucky 38 has a workbench I can put in, and it's nicer (but so dark). And I'm wondering if that terminal re-stocks with caps so I can sell stuff there? But I seem to recall something about companions taking stuff from containers if I have them stay there...true or not?

So I'm curious which suite other players prefer as a storage/safe house.

Lucky 38 allowes companions to stay and also has more use.

I did use the termial much other than to just buy and get the caps back by selling weapons I did't use, but I dont think the terminal restocks caps

lol...that's what I thought I had heard somewhere. And that concerns me, since I only keep stores of hand-crafted food, made with care at campfires from only the highest quality ingredients. If they eat up all my Black Blood Sausage, I'm gonna be pissed. Which begs the question...how come neither suite provides an Electric Hot Plate for cooking up stuff?

You know, I was thinking the same thing. It's pretty centrally located, has workbench, reloader station, campfire, Express Box, a decent merchant and doctor all in close proximity...AND traveling merchants passing thru pretty regularly. My only problem with it is that the items I'm storing there aren't stacking properly... i.e. I move 5 fully-repaired Plasma Defenders from my inventory to the safe for storage till I can sell them, and they unstack. So instead of "Plasma Defender (5)", I have 5 separate items listed...not a big deal, but a bit of a pain when scrolling thru. Besides..the suites are just sooo NICE...lol.

I think maybe it does restock...I'll double check and let you know.

Thanks guys...I'm thinking I'll just store items where ever it's convenient, and not put all my eggs in one basket, so to speak.

I prefer the Tops personally, but anyway, no, the Lucky 38 terminal never restocks.
Companions may also take items from containers in the Lucky 38.

I do the L38. I find it nice for my roleplay and it's pretty cool walking out of your home where nobody's been in for over 200 years.

Yea, I keep a lot of crafting stuff there, but it's a little inconvenient for selling off loot, since it only restocks every three days. Still, you do have everything you need in one location...if only there was an Express Box...

That's the nicest room I've ever seen in a FO game...and no corpses in the bed...lol.
