So... my comapnions disappeared
So I have a bunch of companions and I made them all wait at the BOS safehouse. I took only Veronica because she gave me the quest. Well anyways, I went to vault 34 to get the pulse gun and out of nowhere, Boone apeared. I was like "ok sure, I needed the help anyways. Ok so I get the pulse gun and a bunch of loots and I decide to go back to the safehouse to store some of it. To my surprise when I came back all my companions had disappeared excpet for a dig named Grub. I got worried but thought "hey maybe they will come back" I told Boone to wait for me in the BOS safe house and I took veronica to vault 22 to get the plant info. So I go there and I used the elevator to get to the bottom floor and this is what happens.

Veronica will fight some of the enemies, than when she is done, she just, fades away. I loaded a saved game from when I entered the room and the same thing kept happening. So I decided to load a save from before I left boone and too veronica to vault 22 and there she was and boone and grub.

After that I completed the quest and took veronica to the safehouse and told her to wait there with boone and grub. I searched about this problem and people said to go to vault 22 and use the elevator trick where you just go down to the bottom floor and all your companions will appear.

So I did that and.... nothing. I exited out of the game and now Im here hoping someone will help me. So please, I really need your help.

Side note- I dont have any saves from when I left all my companions, so there is no going back on that.

You can use the console to move them back to your location. Look up their reference IDs (not base IDs) on the wiki and use them with this command in the console:
"refID".moveto player

Replace refID with the ID from the wiki but leave the quotes around it.

I assume you run some unlimited companion mod. It probably got messed up.
As for your missing buddies, just use the Fallout wiki to get their refIDs and use the console to teleport them to you. They are at their original spawning spot or in blue hell most likely, by the way, the first one is more likely.

That ID doesn't refer to any of the companions, but yes, the syntax is correct.

As for modded ones, either use the GECK or FNVEdit. The latter is faster, I think.

Yeah I just typed a few random numbers for example, but thanks a lot this really helps

FNVEdit is both faster and more reliable, since the GECK doesn't account for position in the load order unless you load every plugin. FNVEdit defaults to your current load order.
