Caravan deck lost?

After a good while of ignoring it, I decided to give this silly game Caravan a try. So, I've been building a deck. I had 66 cards. So I played some and lost. The next time I played, I'm down to the basic 26 cards? If you lose a game, you lose all your extra cards?

You are only supposed to lose what you bet in the ante. Something went wrong, seriously wrong if you lost your cards. Are you sure the cards are just not in the deck you made? When making a deck, the top deck is the deck you are making/playing, the bottom deck is the cards you are discarding or adding to the deck to play- but you will always keep both in your inventory.

The current deck is stored in the save game info as one of the containers. This is how the game keeps track of keys (and maybe notes too). Seems like the stash of your accumulated cards was reset somewhere along the way.
If you don't mind typing a lot, you can add them back with the console. Or just download the mod that adds all cards in a safe at the Goodsprings Gas station and get back what you lost.
