Will deleting the FNV Main file delete save files?

Hey,I had a problem where I installed a mod and if messed up my fallout new vegas so I deleted the main file by going to ProgramFiles>Steam>SteamApps>Common and deleting Fallout New Vegas,But will this delete all my save files? I need to know because I completed basically everything,and I dont want to do it all again.

Your saves are in C:\Users\[Your UserName]\Documents\My Games\FalloutNV\Saves

So deleting that folder shouldn't delete your saves, but if you uninstal fallout nv it may remove that folder.

HOWEVER in my experience steam backs up your saves for fallout new vegas so you should be safe (when i got my new PC and fired up new vegas all my saves from the old pc were there).

You can also copy and paste your saves to a diferent folder if your're that worried

No, Steam never removes any save files, even if they are stored in the game's installation folder. Saves and config files are always retained, except in very rare cases when you are presented with a question after pressing uninstall in the client asking if you want to remove custom files (not workshop).

True for nearly all game that use Steams's DRM. Some games dont (KSP for example), for thoose you need to back up manually

can someone help me, i downloaded a enb and i couldnt figure out what to do with this file becuase now the game wont start, the file is enb injector, when i try and delete it, it says its running in another file, what should i do
