Sunset Sarsaparilla Headquarters CTD
Any time I enter the building, it's an instant crash.

If I enter through the backdoor, I won't crash until I get near festus / the enterance.
If I use the coc command, the same exact result will occur.

I have no mods that alter the building, festus, or any items inside the building.

Help?

Yeah, happened with me all the time. The fix was saving facing the front door, making sure the entry prompt is active. Quit the game, then start up again. Load the save and spam the Use button (E by default) like mad. When the game loads this immediately makes the transition and it doesn't crash.
Hopefully, this works for you too.

That solution works at most any cell transitions. I assume because at a fresh load, there is not enough data in the memory yet to ever get close to a chance of crashing. (Memory overflow seems to be the most common cause of crash after area transitions.)

If that trick does not work, then you have something corrupted in the factory floor game cell. Do you have any mods that may affect it?
Also, there is another entrance, around the back. Try to enter there.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
