edit.. DS3tool and motionjoy are one and the same
Anyway...
FONV won`t pick up a DS3 properly, it wants a XBOX360 trashpad, I.e XInput. So you`ll just have to check the little "XBOX360 controller emulator" option in MotioninJoy, hit enable, and it`ll work. You`ll still have to map the trashpad buttons to a DS3 of course, but considering they`re laid out virtually identically that shouldn`t be a problem.
BTW, there IS a local use version of MotioninJoy.
Just ignore this guy, he stalks me pretty regularly. I could write something mean about him, but that would be beneath both myself and OP wouldn't be any further along.
Why bother ? Spend upwards of 100 Euros just to get the same functionality but slightly easier to configure ?
90% of games that are better to play with a controller can`t really take advantage of more than 16 buttons, 2 sticks anyway. There`s dedicated devices such as flightsticks, fightstick and pedals and wheel for the rest.
Fixed :D
Maybe there is hope yet.
Thanks for your observation. I assume you must be angry about something or other. Otherwise you'd have pretended to make an on-topic post instead of just zeroing in on me.
Maybe I should play victim then do a dramatic flounce thread!

for all my gaming and emulation needs.
It's not as precise as my Xplop 360 controller in the sticks but at least I don't have to replace the batteries every 3 days.
Besides. If you want precise, unless you love using VATS all the time, then the keyboard and mouse is the way to go when playing FoNV.
