Best side quests
So I'm finally finishing off my run of NV. I haven't completed 100% obviously but I've done enough that I'm willing to call it done once i finiish the main quest.

In case I've missed anything really cool, if there was one side quest, especially one in a fairly obscure location, that you would regret not doing, what would it be? Preferably no story spoilers; just a location and a vague hint about what made it awesome.

I like Vault 19, but I often forget about it.
Bleed Me Dry. Check the sewer grate near Westside.

I liked the sidequest where you can help this little slave girl get her bear back from the houndmaster Antony. Then at the very end she asks for it back, and you are given the choice of tearing it in half.

I never felt more evil, even after selling people to slavery, that was nothing to destroy that little girl's happyness.

If there were a personal quest for my *main* courier, this would be it:

Leaving out the fanony-background fluff, this mission really speaks to me; especially if the fiends actually give you trouble because of the dialogue with the patrol you meet if they do.

Beyond the Beef and How Little We Know have one of the best writing and most intricate branches in the game.
Other than that, Dead Money.

Thanks for the replies. I'm acualy about to enter Vault 19 right now.

After the fact, I looked up the quests on the wiki, just looking at the list and not descriptions and I'm only missing less than 20 sidequest and that includes about 5 you need to enter the fort to get which I haven't done yet.

So, more importantly, any must-see locations other than the vaults, which I'm picking off now.

There is a crater NE of the game, you can get a party hat so you might want to check it out. East side on the river there is a spot where you can get a set of Enclave Remnant Power Armour (Only the body). Just bring a bit more ammo than usual if you want to go there.

Also you might want to go Legendary creature hunting.

Could you be a bit more specific? "NE" is pretty big. A location it is near, perhaps?

I didn't know what you meant at first so I had to look it up. I've apparently killed a few legendary - for instance, the Deathclaw.

North and East of pretty much everything. Bitter Springs is the closest area I know the name of off the top of my head, and it's Northeast of that.

For Auld Lang Syne. Awesome mission to recruit some additional help for the final battle, but charged with nostalgia and emotion, expecially if you played previous fallout games and because it's tied to a companion you might care about. Remember Navarro.

The only thing it would make it great, the one thing for which I would replay all of FNV now, is if the actual score for Auld Lang Syne played (bagpipes, of course) while the guys walk with you on Hoover Dam in their power armor.

Simply awesome.

It's east of Camp Forlorn Hope, an opening between the cliffs lead to a Deathclaw nest, the enclave power armor
And possible T-51b can be found there
