Snipe scope doesn't cover the whole screen
When I aim down a scope, some of the environment is visible as the whole screen isn't covered:

Is this some fov issue and can I fix it? I play in 1920x1080.

Scopes are just a texture overlay with a FoV modifications, but this usually happens on non-16:9 or non-4:3 aspect ratios.
You can go to Nexus and download a scope replacer mod, there are a few. They use larger textures that usually cover most resolutions.

I do as well, but I've never had that happen. :S

Nope, changing the texture didn't fix it. I had modified fDefaultFOV from 90.0000 to 105.3000, which appears to be the culprit.

Sounds logical, even though I use 110 FoV in this game generally, and I can't recall this issue. Although by the time I started using the FoV slider mod, I mostly gave up on the generic sniper characters, so I may just not remember it because it rarely used a scope.
By the way, isn't the default FoV the standard peasant 75?
