downloading fallout NV on mac using steam.
Can anyone give me step by step instructions on how to download New Vegas using steam on my Macbook Air. I have heard of using things like wine, and winebottler, but i have had no luck. Much help would be appreciated.

They did have success? o_O This is a very Windows-only game, and so sensitive to drivers and codecs that it sounds almost unbelievable that even Wine could make it run without crashing at the start.

You'll need to use Bootcamp so you can install Windows. Just means you will have to boot into Windows to play

Assuming wine doesn't explode upon coming into contact with gamebryo, even terrible macs should have the graphical horsepower to play new Vegas.

Probably try bootcamp instead.
